The Institute for New Suburbanism (INS), in partnership with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, is excited to announce its official launch on September 15, 2016. What is New Suburbanism? How does it relate to suburban communities like Scarborough? Who is talking about New Suburbanism and why should anyone care about it? This launch is a great opportunity to learn about the ideas of New Suburbanism and have a dialogue about rethinking the planning and development of suburbs and city-regions. Steps away from transit and free underground parking available (access from Grangeway Avenue and follow the parking signs). $30 online ($35 at the door) for regular tickets and $20 ($25 at the door) for students.
